Avira, company that offers home and business security software solutions, has inaugurated its new corporate headquarters in Tettnang, Germany. It took $25 million and 16 months to complete the construction of the new building which, as Avira explained, perfectly embodies the company’s “Live Free” motto.

Avira’s new corporate headquarters provides ample space for 320 employees, features a floor plan that resembles the umbrella in the Avira logo, and features an interior design that promotes transparency and communication – these elements embody Avira’s “Live Free” motto.

Avira’s founder and CEO, Tjark Auerbach, said that the grand opening of the new corporate headquarters in Tettnang is a very special day in the company’s corporate history and that he’s glad the opening coincides with Avira’s 25th anniversary.

“Our ambition was to create an equally pleasant, productive, and inspiring work environment for our employees and I am convinced that the modern, transparent architecture of our new headquarters is the perfect answer to these requirements,” said Auerbach.

This April marks Avira’s 25th anniversary. The company that’s been offering protection to more than 100 million users from all over the world announced earlier this month (on the 4th of April to be more precise) that it’s celebrating its 25th birthday.

To celebrate this joyous occasion, Avira announced that it is offering a 25% discount for Avira AntiVir Premium and Avira Premium Security Suite until the 22nd of April. Here’s a tip if you don’t want to spend your hard earned money: get the free Avira AntiVir Personal, which is one of the most downloaded free antivirus products out there.

“Viruses and malware have changed a lot in 25 years, and our job has always been to stay one step ahead of the bad guys, keeping our customers secure” said Sascha Beyer, Chief Operating Officer, Products & Services, Avira GmbH. “We are proud of our reputation for quality and reliability which we have among security companies, and of the trust we have earned from our millions of customers.”
