Not only does the 2014 version of Avira Free Antivirus completely give up on ads, it also introduces new functionality.

The free antivirus solution gives you 5GB of free cloud storage space so you can securely backup your important files. Furthermore, it includes Windows Firewall Control.

A while back I was glad to announce that Avira Free Antivirus users no longer have to be annoyed by ads. The free security solution ran Notifier Ads – each day an ad would pop up and invite you to purchase something. Avira relied on Notifier Ads to finance its free antivirus product. But the annoying ads pushed users away, so Avira decided to give up on the ads. So as of October 1st, Avira Free Antivirus stopped displaying ads.

It is now mid-October and I am glad to announce that Avira rolled out the 2014 versions of all its security products. The exciting thing about Avira Free Antivirus 2014 is that it introduces new functionality: 5GB of free cloud storage space to securely backup files and Windows Firewall control.

You can get Avira Free Antivirus 2014 right here on FindMySoft.
You can learn more about Avira Free Antivirus 2014 on its official webpage.

Here’s a quick look at the other products in Avira’s 2014 line:
“Once you install Avira’s new 2014 software, then from here forward you will be able to add new security features – and only the features that you want – at any point in time without having to perform complex migrations from one version to another. Our goal for Avira’s 2014 product line is to give customers just the protection and features they want and need,” explained Sorin Mustaca, Product Manager.

“All of Avira’s premium products now include ‘Advanced Real-Time Protection’ which brings you intensive malware detection power in the cloud. The premium suites also include a flexible new licensing system so that you can protect all your devices – Windows, Mac OSx, Android and Apple iOS – with just one Avira security suite,” Mustaca added.
