Apple: These Are the Most Downloaded Apps of All Time

As you may already now, Apple is glad that the 10 billionth app download will soon bee recorded; the Cupertino-based company will celebrate by giving one lucky downloader a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card. In expectance of the 10 billionth download, Apple has made public a list of the most downloaded apps of all time. Here’s what Apple made public.

Top 10 Free iPhone Apps of All Time
1. Facebook
2. Pandora
3. Google Mobile App
4. Shazam
5. Movies by Flixster
6. The Weather Channel
7. Google Earth
8. Bump

10. Paper Toss

So there you have it – the all-time most downloaded apps from Apple’s App Store.

In related news, Apple reported excellent financial results for its Q1 2011. Apple reported total revenues of $26.74 billion and a net quarterly profit of $6 billion ($6.43 per diluted share). That’s a considerable increase compared to Q1 2010 when Apple reported total revenues of $15.68 billion and a net quarterly profit of $3.38 billion.($3.67 per diluted share).

In further related news Steve Jobs, the CEO of Cupertino-based software developer Apple, has recently announced that because of his health, he has to take a medical leave of absence. He announced this in a letter sent to all employees, letter that you can read here.
