Apple Starts Selling SIM-Free Unlocked iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus

Great news for Apple customers who do not want to be tied to a 2-year contract with a carrier. The news is that Apple started selling SIM-free unlocked versions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the US.

Here are the prices you will have to pay if you want to get a SIM-free unlocked iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus:
  • 16GB iPhone 6 – $649
  • 64GB iPhone 6 –$749
  • 128GB iPhone – $849
  • 16GB iPhone 6 Plus – $749
  • 64GB iPhone 6 Plus – $849
  • 128GB iPhone 6 Plus – $949

Just to be thorough, here are the suggested retail prices if you get a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus with a 2-year contract:
  • 16GB iPhone 6 – $199
  • 64GB iPhone 6 –$299
  • 128GB iPhone – $399
  • 16GB iPhone 6 Plus – $299
  • 64GB iPhone 6 Plus – $399
  • 128GB iPhone 6 Plus – $499

The choice is yours! You can get a subsidized iPhone and be tied to a 2-year contract, or you can get a SIM-free unlocked iPhone and pay full price. No matter which option you go for, you will get Apple’s thinnest smartphones ever – they’re 6.9mm and 7.1mm thin respectively. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, 1334 x 750 resolution, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch Retina HD display, 1920 x 1080 resolution.
