Angry Birds Transformers: Soft Launch Now, Global Launch this October
The Transformers-themed version of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Transformers, soft launched in Finland and New Zealand, with Canada and Australia soon to follow.
If you’re in one of these countries, you can get Angry Birds Transformers for iOS and play it on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
If you’re not in one of these countries, there’s not much you can do but wait for the game’s global launch this October.
On the 15th of October, Angry Birds Transformers for iOS will be rolled out to the general public on Apple’s App Store.
Then on the 30th of October, Angry Birds Transformers for Android will be rolled out to the general public on Google Play. And then on the 5th of November, Angry Birds Transformers for Android will also be rolled out to Amazon.

The action in Angry Birds Transformers takes place on Piggy Island. The island becomes the place where the Autobirds and Deceptihogs wreak havoc as they search for the EggSpark and fight the EggBots. You can play as either the Autobirds or Deceptihogs. No matter which side you choose, you will get to fight against swarms of enemies using some serious firepower.
Red, as expected, is Optimus Prime in the Angry Birds Transformers game.
And Chuck, the Yellow Bird, is Bumblebee.
