Rovio Entertainment recently rolled out a new episode for its Angry Birds seasons game. Entitled Arctic Eggspedition, this new episode features a grand total of 25 new levels – levels that were described by the game’s developer as “festive, frosty, and fun-filled.” The new episode also features 4 bonus levels, and a new surprise underwater attack through the icy Arctic sea.

Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December – and the Arctic Eggspedition episode introduced 25 new levels. This is definitely not a coincidence; Rovio planned it this way. You see, these are 25 advent calendar levels. You’re meant to play one level per day, every day until Christmas. But if you’re anxious and can’t wait to play one level per day, you can make a purchase and unlock all the levels included in the Arctic Eggspedition episode.

In the video embedded below, official Angry Birds magician Simon Pierro introduces the aforementioned Arctic Eggspedition episode. Watch him pull some cool trick and amaze the live audience.

In related news, the classic Angry Birds game was recently updated as well. Rovio rolled out a new episode called Short Fuse. This episode intros a total of 30 electrifying new levels and a new Shock Wave power for the Bomb Bird.
