To celebrate the fact that Angry Birds Go! has been downloaded more than 100 million times, Rovio Entertainment updated the free-to-play downhill race game and introduced team multiplayer, a feature that many customers had been asking for. The updated version of Angry Birds Go! also introduces nighttime racing.

This means that you can assemble a team of 3 racers and go race against other teams – test your skill in daytime or nighttime races. Here’s a trailer for the new team multiplayer gameplay feature.

Rolled out to the public in December 2013, Angry Birds Go! is a free-to-play downhill race game set on a 3D Piggy Island. Get the game and you will get to enjoy thrilling, high-octane racing action on your iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, or BlackBerry.

Angry Birds Go! - Main Features

  • High-octane racing action and upgradable karts.
  • The game features over 50 different soapbox karts.

In the summer of 2014, Rovio Entertainment added a new entry to the list of features mentioned above: multiplayer mode. This new feature allows you to race against real opponents – three real opponents to be more precise, or three friends if you choose to connect with your Facebook.

Earlier this November, Rovio Entertainment added a yet another new entry to the list of features mentioned above: team multiplayer mode. This new feature allows you to team up with your friends and go race against other Angry Birds Go! players. It must be mentioned that Rovio also introduced a nighttime racing mode, meaning that you can enjoy daytime and nighttime team races.

“Angry Birds Go! has been out almost a year and it has recently exceeded 100 million downloads - we are now at 107 million, to be exact. To celebrate, we’re launching the most awaited updated for Angry Birds Go! yet - team multiplayer! Get ready, assemble a team with your friends, and go beak-to-snout with other crews in 3-on-3 multiplayer races. Daytime racing feeling too easy for you, hot shot? Well, turn on the high beams and race by moonlight in brand new nighttime competitions!” said Rovio on its blog.
