Android Users Finally Get Plants vs. Zombies 2

Plants vs. Zombies 2, the sequel to the very popular Plants vs. Zombies game, has finally been rolled out to all the awaiting Android users around the world.

It’s been more than two months since the worldwide launch of Plants vs. Zombies 2. The thing is that until now, the game was an iOS exclusive. As of this week, it is also available for Android. Go get it for free from the Play Store.

The month of October started out with a soft launch announcement from PopCap. On the 3rd of October, the company announced that Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android went live in Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of this soft launch was so the game could see some real-world play testing. PopCap said at the time that “the full global release of Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android will launch shortly.”

20 days later, the much awaited full global release occurred. On the 23rd of October, Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android was rolled out to the Play Store. Hoards of Android users from all corners of the world can now enjoy the time-traveling adventure game on their devices.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 needs Android 2.3 or newer, an ARMv7 1.0 Ghz processor or higher, and at least 1GB of RAM.
