Great news for Batman fans in general and Batman Arkham fans in particular. To celebrate the release of Batman Arkham VR, Steam is having a Midweek Madness sale and it’s offering discounts of up to 75% on all Batman Arkham games.

Just to make things clear, the sale covers all the main games in the Batman Arkham franchise. That’s Batman Arkham Asylum, City, Origins, and Knight. On top of that, the Midweek Madness sale covers several LEGO Batman games.

The Batman Arkham games listed below (in chronological order) are currently on sale on Steam, discounted by up to 75% until Friday, April 28, at 10AM Pacific Time.

1. Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition

Released way back in 2009, the critically acclaimed Arkham Asylum is the first game in the Batman Arkham franchise – it won multiple awards, it was excellently received by the critics and the gaming community, it even held the Guinness World Record for "Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever".

If you’ve yet to step foot in this franchise’s universe, there’s no better place to start than with this game. Actually, there is a better way: by getting 2010’s remastered Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, which is discounted by 75% on Steam right now.
The price is the same in Euros (€).

2. Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition

When a game is a big hit, the developer/publisher is going to capitalize on the success and come up with one or even multiple sequels. Arkham Asylum’s huge success helped launch an entire series of games, starting with Arkham City, the sequel that was released in 2011 and then again in 2012 as a Game of the Year Edition.

Arkham City is just as exciting as the original game, if not more exciting. It features a world that’s five times larger than in the original game and an even bigger cast of characters that includes Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and. If you liked Arkham Asylum, keep on delivering justice as The Dark Knight and get Arkham City GOTY, which is discounted by 75% on Steam right now.
The price is the same in Euros (€).

3. Batman: Arkham Origins (and Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition)

The third main game in the series is 2013’s Arkham Origins, a prequel that takes place a few years before Arkham Asylum and City. With this 3rd installment, the developer chose to focus on "a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight."

Arkham Origins is accompanied by a spin-off mobile game for iOS and Android called Arkham Origins BlackGate. This mobile spin-off eventually made it to Steam in 2014, but it wasn’t very well received. I’d just skip it if I were you, even though the 75% discount makes it fairly appealing.
The prices are the same in Euros (€).

4. Batman: Arkham Knight

The award-winning Arkham trilogy comes to an end with 2015’s Arkham Knight, and what better way to end it than to have Bats face his hardest challenge yet: the super criminals of Gothan have united under Scarecrow’s leadership and they want nothing less than to destroy the Batman. Forever!

Arkham Knight introduces a couple of firsts: the Batmobile is a playable vehicle and you can explore all of Gotham City in a completely open and free-roaming game world. And speaking about the game world, it’s worth pointing out that its more than five times that of Batman: Arkham City.

Batman: Arkham Knight is discounted by 60% on Steam right now. The Arkham Knight Premium Edition, which includes the game and the Season Pass, is discounted by 60% as well.
The prices are the same in Euros (€).

Batman: Arkham VR isn’t discounted at all. Since it just landed on Steam on Tuesday, April 25, it’s offered for full price: $20.

Several LEGO Batman games are discounted as part of the Arkham Franchise Midweek Madness on Steam: 2008’s LEGO Batman, 2012’s LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes, and 2014’s LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. All three games are discounted by 75%.

The Lego Batman Trilogy, which includes all three LEGO Batman games mentioned above, is discounted by 75% as well, priced at $12.49 instead of $50.

And don't forget that the sale ends on Friday, April 28 at 10AM Pacific Time.
