Agomo, the tool that lets you optimize computers from the cloud, will get a mobile interface and client in the future, Piriform announced.

Agomo is currently being put to the test by Beta testers around the world. They provided feedback and, among other things, they demanded a mobile interface and client for Agomo. Piriform took this feedback into consideration and started working on the requested feature.

Currently in Beta, Agomo is a cloud-based tool that offers the same sort of functionality you would expect to get from CCleaner and Defraggler. With Agomo you can clean and defragment multiple machines from the cloud. You can remotely optimize machines within you browser window.

Agomo Main Features
  • Locally or remotely optimize your computer or computers.
  • CCleaner functionality: remove junk files, fix Registry problems, manage startup programs.
  • Defraggler functionality: defrag your hard disk.
  • View system info: CPU load, memory usage, and more.
  • Add or remove software applications.
  • Email alerts are sent out before problems occur.
  • Schedule cleaning or defragmentation jobs.

Agomo Video Presentation

As expected, the people who joined the Agomo Beta test, provided valuable feedback and suggested new features. Piriform took a look at the feedback, thanked the Beta testers for their hard work, and announced that it is already working on several suggested features. The feature that caught my eye is a mobile interface and client. But the truth of the matter is that Piriform is working on other suggested features.

Here’s a list:
  • Mobile interface and client for Agomo.
  • Mac OS X client for Agomo.
  • Grouping computers feature.
  • Installer that is pre-lined to your account.
  • Performance and data accuracy improvements.

The features presented above will be implemented as new Agomo build are rolled out.
