The Bomb Bird is once again in the limelight. This time, it is because Rovio rolled out 15 new levels for the Short Fuse episode. This means that Short Fuse now features a grand total of 45 levels. I remind you that the Short Fuse episode originally introduced 30 new levels and a new power for the Bomb Bird, power called Shock Wave.

Alongside the 15 new levels for the Short Fuse episode, Rovio rolled out a new Power-up University. Complete a trial and you get to test power-ups.

Back in November, Rovio Entertainment rolled out Short Fuse, an update for its very popular Angry Birds game. The update put the spotlight on the Bomb Bird, introduced a total of 30 electrifying new levels, and introduced a new Shock Wave power for the aforementioned Bomb Bird.

Here’s the video that accompanied the roll out of the Short Fuse update back in November 2013.

This week, Rovio announced that it is time for the aftershock. The Bomb Bird once again takes center stage as Rovio rolled out more Short Fuse levels. And to be more precise, the Short Fuse update received an additional 15 levels. This means the episode now has a grand total of 45 levels to offer.

Rovio also rolled out a new feature called Power-Up University.

“What is Power-up University? If you’ve ever wondered about power-ups but never tried them - well now you can go and test them out for free. Go to the Power-up Shop and tap the button with Stella on it to try them out. Complete the trial to get your reward!” explained Rovio.

To play the original 30 levels and the new 15 levels offered by the Short Fuse episode, you must get the latest Angry Birds app for iOS and Android.

Angry Birds for iOS is available for free download in Apple’s App Store.
Angry Birds for Android is available for free download in Google’s Play Store.
