Security company Trend Micro is using an adorable dog and a bunch of funny videos to promote its products. The company recently released Family PAWtector, a series of 7 entertaining videos. Each video in the series features a lovable pooch that manages to protect his human in a heartwarming way.

Mom goes out for a jog while dad and junior stay home. Dad immediately goes for the remote and starts to watch TV. Junior starts doing what kids do best – misbehave. Dad’s too busy to monitor junior, but don’t worry, the dog follows him around and makes sure he doesn’t misbehave too much.

The video promotes Trend Micro’s parental controls which don’t let children access websites or videos that are inappropriate for their age.

Mom lets junior know that Uncle Freddie will pay them a visit. When Uncle Freddie arrives, he gives junior a birthday gift, even though junior’s birthday was 2 months ago. Worse still, the gift isn’t age appropriate. To keep his human safe, the dog takes the gift and buries it in the yard. While mom is away, Uncle Freddie tries to add a secret ingredient to mom’s cooking. The dog gets rid of the secret ingredient and gets rid of Uncle Freddie as well.

The video promotes Trend Micro’s malware protection. Trend Micro software anticipates threats to keep malware at bay.

This video focuses on online dating. Lisa uses an app called Binder to try and meet someone. Michael uses the same app to try and meet someone. Both of them have a dog. When Lisa goes to throw something in the trash bin, she meets Michael. The two start talking and, as they talk, Lisa’s dog likes Michael’s Binder profile while Michael’s dog likes Lisa’s profile.

The video promotes Trend Micro’s cloud-based protection which keeps potential threats away, including malicious links and phishing scams.

If Uncle Freddie didn’t creep you out enough, here’s a nosy neighbor who has nothing better to do than to snoop on you. Said neighbor pays a visit when no one’s at home. Well, no one but the dog. As someone who is way too familiar with snooping neighbors, I found it extremely gratifying to see the dog drive away the nosy neighbor.

The video promotes Trend Micro’s privacy and data theft protection. No matter where you are, no matter what you do online, Trend Micro will protect you.

The lovable pooch is always there for grandma, helping her find a misplaced phone, turn on the TV, and recharge a laptop. What would grandma do without herlovable pooch?

The video promotes Trend Micro’s ease of use. Connect and share without hassles or worry.

Lisa is back. This time she has to change an expired password. While she’s busy picking a password that isn’t too weak, some guy tries to steal her wallet. The dog saves the day by scaring the would-be thief and by giving Lisa an idea for a properly strong password.

The video promotes the fact that Trend Micro securely manages your passwords and protects them from any bad guy who would like gain access to your accounts.

Michael is back too. He almost gets run over by a car because he’s too focused on his phone to watch where he’s going. He almost trips on a football because he’s carrying too much stuff and can’t see where he’s going. He burns the food he’s cooking because he’s on the computer. The dog saves the day each time. No matter how busy Michael is, the dog is there to lend a helping hand.

The video focuses on the fact that you absolutely, most definitely need protection. But because you’re too busy, you’ll realize that too late. Don’t take any chances! Trend Micro proactively protects against dangers, keeping you safe even if you don’t know you need to stay safe.
