7 Exciting Movie Trailers Presented at Comic-Con 2016

When I’m not testing software or playing video games, I like to watch movies. That’s the holy trinity for me: software, games, movies.

During this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, lots of interesting trailers were released, for both movies and TV shows. Leaving TV shows for another time, here are the 7 exciting movie trailers that were presented at Comic-Con 2016.

Ordered by release date.

1. Blair Witch
  • Release date – September 16, 2016.
  • Description – a group of college students venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of James’ sister who many believe is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch.



2. Doctor Strange
  • Release date – November 4, 2016.
  • Description – a disgraced former surgeon named Stephen Strange becomes a powerful sorcerer under the tutelage of a mystic known as the Ancient One.



3. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
  • Release date – November 18, 2016.
  • Description – a spin-off set in the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling. It presents the adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards.



4. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
  • Release date – March 24, 2017.
  • Description – when the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.



5. Kong: Skull Island
  • Release date – March, 2017.
  • Description – when a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man.



6. Justice League
  • Release date – November 2017.
  • Description – Batman enlists Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman to fight against a newly awakened threat.



7. Wonder Woman
  • Release date – June 2, 2017.
  • Description – the Amazonian princess leaves her island, lives among regular humans, and becomes the legendary superhero Wonder Woman.



Honorable mention - Suicide Squad
  • Release date – August 5, 2016.
  • Description – assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super-Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity.
