Want to make your photos look like they were painted by Picasso, Van Gogh, or some other famous artist? Then you need to download Prisma, a mobile app that promises to "turn every photo into art using artificial intelligence." Like this.

Now that you’re familiar with what Prisma does, here are some interesting stats you should know about it.

1. More than 400 million photos have been "prismed"

Prisma, as mentioned above, takes the photos you give it and edits them, turning them into works of art. So far, Prisma users have edited more than 400 million photos.

2. Prisma has been downloaded more than 10 million times

10.6 million times if you want to be accurate. And on iOS alone. That’s quite impressive, considering that Prisma for iOS was launched a month ago.

Prisma is available for Android as well. Version 1.0 just recently hit Google Play. So now that Prisma is available for iOS and Android, we can expect the number of downloads to go up.

3. The max number of daily downloads was 700K

So far, the number of daily downloads has maxed at about 700,000.

4. There are 1.5 million daily active users

Some 1.55 million people around the world use Prisma daily. And now that it’s available for Android as well, that number will surely increase.

5. More than 30 styles are available

Using Prisma is a fairly straightforward process. First, you have to select the picture that will be edited; either take a picture, or select one from your gallery. Then you have to choose how you want the picture to be edited, meaning you get to pick one of more than 30 styles (or filters).

Once you’re done editing a picture, you can save it to your gallery and you can share it on FAcebook, Instagram, and so on.

Tip – disable the Prisma watermark

By default, Prisma will add a watermark to the photos it edits. If you don’t like it, access the Settings menu and disable Ad Watermark.

Prisma is free and doesn’t display ads. Go get it from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
