While they don’t tell the whole story and don’t present everything there is to know about a game, trailers do shed some light on what a game is like and what it has to offer.

That being said, here are 4 new game trailers that you’ll definitely want to watch.

1. The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine launch trailer

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the award-winning open-world high-fantasy action role-playing video game, will get its second (and final) expansion on March 31st. Called Blood and Wine, it introduces a new Toussaint region and plenty of new stuff, including 90 new quests, 40 new points of interest, 20 new monsters, 30 new weapons, and an all-new Gwent deck.

This trailer was recently released to present the new Toussaint region, a remote land untouched by war but terrorized by a mysterious beast.

And this trailer was released to promote the launch of the Blood and Wine expansion.

"Welcome to the land of summer, a remote valley untouched by war," it says on The Witcher 3 official website. "The land of wandering knights, noble ladies and magnificent wineries. What better time to visit than now, when this kingdom of virtue is torn apart by a series of savage massacres! Geralt of Rivia, a legendary monster slayer, takes on his last great contract. Blood and Wine offers over 30 hours of adventure, where beauty clashes with horror, and love dances with deceit."

2. Live-action Deus Ex trailer presents the "Mechanical Apartheid"

The fifth game in the Deus Ex series, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, is going to be released on August 23, 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While you wait, you might want to check out a live-action trailer that serves as a powerful introduction to the war-torn world of the game.

The trailer below explains how society became divided by hatred after mechanically-augmented people went insane and started attacking people, killing millions and injuring hundreds of thousands.

If you want something that isn’t live-action and presents the game in a bit more detail, then you have to check out the official 101 trailer which is about 6 minutes long.

"In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you become Adam Jensen, a counterterrorism agent working for an Interpol unit known as Task Force 29. On the surface, Jensen’s goal is to hunt down terrorists in a world that’s spinning out of control, where mechanically augmented humans live a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. But what he’s really after are the Illuminati: the men and women who are always pulling the strings," says Square Enix.

"His investigation will take you around the world, with the decisions you make and the actions you take playing a crucial role in determining the game’s outcome. Choose between combat, stealth, social, and hacking approaches to achieve your objectives. Be mindful though, as there will be a meaningful consequence to every action and choice you make."

3. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands has a massive open world

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, its upcoming open-world tactical shooter. Called “We Are Ghosts," this brand new trailer focuses on "how the Ghosts decide to take on a massive and dangerous open world."

Did you get everything? It’s okay if you didn’t, because Ubisoft released a video that breaks down the We Are Ghosts trailer and presents everything that you might have missed.

The action in Ghost Recon: Wildlands takes place in modern day Bolivia. You’re a member of the Ghosts, an elite team that has been dispatched by the US Army to deal with the Santa Blanca drug cartel. You are to destroy the cartel and expose its ties to the local government.

4. Absolver, the ambitious new action game Sloclap

If you’ve never heard of Sloclap, I don’t blame you. It’s an independent studio located in Paris that was founded about a year ago. It was founded by veteran designers, programmers, and artists that met while working together at Ubisoft on the Watch Dogs and Ghost Recon series.

Slocap is currently working on an ambitious new game called Absolver, a melee-based online martial arts action game that will be release on both consoles and PC at some point in 2017. This is the game’s very first reveal trailer.
