Norwegian developer Opera Software jokingly said that 4 is an important number that “represents the seasons, the elements, and the amount of members in the Beatles.” Why did Opera Software say that? Why for the simple reason that Opera Coast has been updated to version 4.0.

All kidding aside, this is an important update. It lets you instantly share content on multiple social networks, it helps you discover interesting content, it uses Opera Turbo by default, it lets you easily switch from your mobile to your desktop.

Opera Coast 4.0 – New Features

• Share content with others – find interesting content, tap the new share button, pick your favorite social network, and the interesting content you discovered will be shared with your friends. Several social networks are supported: Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Line, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, VKontakte & Odnoklassniki.

• Discover content – finding interesting content online isn’t as simple as it sounds. That’s why Opera Coast 4.0 comes with a Discover news feed that lets you find stories and news from all over the internet. Just swipe left or right and you will be presented with trending articles.

• Surf Faster with Opera Turbo – the Opera Turbo compression technology is used to compress web pages. By doing this, Opera Coast ensures you use less data to surf the web. It also ensures you surf the web faster when you're on a slow connection.

• Switch between devices – when you want to switch from your iPhone to your Mac, handoff pages and continue to surf the web.
