For two weeks, from August 5 until August 21, top athletes from around the world will compete in Rio, in the 2016 Summer Olympics Games.

If you’re a fan, and you want easy access to lots of useful information about Rio 2016, you might want to take a look at the free mobile apps listed below.

1. Rio 2016

This is the official Rio 2016 mobile app developed by Samsung in collaboration with the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee. The app has all the Olympic Games information you need: up-to-date information on the Olympic schedule and results, medals, sports, athletes and teams, venues, maps, spectators guides. And if you pick your favorite country, sports, or athletes, you’ll get push notification alerts.

Go get the Rio 2016 app for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

2. NBC Olympics – News & Results

NBC, the exclusive broadcaster of the 2016 Olympics, has two mobile apps to offer: NBC Sports and NBC Olympics. Even though the first app will live stream all Olympic events, access to it is restricted. Consequently, the NBC app I decided to put on this list is NBC Olympics, which provides easy access to the latest highlights, news and results across all 34 Olympic sports.

Go get NBC Olympics for iOS and Android.

3. Rio 2016 Social Hub

While the apps presented so far focus on the Olympic Games, this app focuses on the Olympic athletes. Lots of athletes are on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Thanks to this app, you can easily find their verified social media accounts and follow them.

Go get the Rio 2016 Social Hub app for Android.

Honorable mention – The Olympics Official App

This free app has information on all the Olympic Games, not just the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio. Use it to get the latest news and schedules for Rio 2016, to view photos and videos from throughout Olympic history, to find results for all sports, and more.

Go get The Olympics app for iOS and Android.
