The free Make Me Monster iOS app comes with more than 150 effects you can use to turn an image of yourself into a scary image of a monster.

Want to have a bit of fun uncovering how you would look like if you were a scary monster? If you answered “sure I would” to that question, then I present to you the free Make Me Monster app. Like the name so adequately points out, this is an app that will turn you into a monster. And the nice thing is that it comes with more than 150 effects that you can use to come up with a scary image of your monster self.

Using Make Me Monster is a very simple 3-step process. The whole thing goes something like this:

Step 1 – pick the image you want to edit. You can load an existing picture or you can take a new photo right then and there. For optimum results, pick a clear picture of yourself looking directly at the camera.

Step 2 – start editing the picture. As mentioned above, there are more than 150 effects to choose from. Feel free to pick and use any and all the effects you want. You can mix and match the effects as you see fit.

Step 3 – save or share. When you’re done editing the image, you can save it locally, onto your iOS-powered device. Or you could share the picture with your friends. The Make Me Monster app lets you shave images on Facebook, Twitter, and via email.

The Make Me Monster app is available for free in the App Store here.

It should be mentioned that the developer has two other similar apps: Make Me Pirate, an app that also offers more than 150 effects to turn yourself into a pirate, and Make Me Santa, an app with a distinct Christmassy feel.
