10 Signs that You Are an Apple Fan Boy
Do you have an iPhone and not a G1 or HTC? Do you have a Mac and not a PC? Do you listen to your iPod and not your Zune? You might be a person that just likes to get cool stuff (even Melinda Gates, wife of Bill Gates confirms that iPhones are cool and she would like one – details here), and coincidently that stuff bears the Apple brand. Or you might be a hardcore Apple fan, that never realized he passed the threshold between casual Mac user and die hard Apple supporter.
If you suspect yourself of becoming more of an Apple fan boy than you'd like to, here are 10 telltale signs to look for. Take all of this in good humor, share a laugh and post your own signs in the comments section if you like.
1. When you have to make a presentation at work your favorite outfit is a pair of jeans and a black turtleneck.
2. You own an Apple Lisa and you named a member of your family, or a pet, Lisa.
3. You are the proud combatant in the Mac vs. Windows war posting numerous comments about how Windows ads are misconstruing the truth about Macs. You were particularly driven into a mad frenzy by the latest Laptop Hunters ad campaign , but you laughed your ass off when you saw the parody.
4. You never watched “Dancing with the Stars” before, but you tuned in to see Woz (Steve Wozniak for the rest of the world). You get extra points for personally attending the show.
5. You never miss any Apple software/hardware related article on the web, especially rumors about upcoming upgrades or new technology. If Apple releases something new and you missed the rumors about it, you feel slighted.
6. You’ve modded your Mac, iPhone or iPod.
7. You never throw away vintage Apple computers, peripherals or software.
8. You own a copy of Mac OS X Public Beta.
9. You own several books on Apple history and you never lend them.
10. You pause the movie just to show your friends the Mac or iPhone you spotted.
