proofSIGN Publisher Description

proofSIGN verifies your printed proofs to any standard. proofSIGN includes setups to verify your proofs to ISO standards for offset litho sheetfed, web and newspaper printing, but you can now generate your own standards from any CMYK ICC profile using either the FOGRA mediawedge, or the included proofSIGN chart. Never again be unsure whether any proof you give to your printers is inaccurate, or whether as a printer any proof you give to your clients is accurate in colour and only shows the colours you can print.

Generate a Pass/Fail PDF report and print out a label to attach to each proof. Works with any RIP that can add a TIF as a control strip, and has full instructions and files for adding the proofSIGN control strip to the Best Colorproof, GMG, EFI XF and Proofmaster RIPs, although it will work with any RIP that can add an EPS, TIF, or PDF control bar.

Activation codes are saved correctly, if a different Eye-One is plugged in, or when a user upgrades from the demo to the full version.

The proofSIGN chart is now available as tif, eps and pdf versions.
Any included proofing targets are installed automatically, overwriting any previous versions.Custom proofing targets are still retained, however.
The Colour Info window is movable on Mac and PC
Window positions are saved between sessions
The Eye One is auto detected, and the calibration window will now open automatically
Clicking on the Measure button takes you directly to the measure window, so there is no need to type in a job name at this Stage
You can change the printer without a warning message.
You can change the target standard after measurement to see how close your proof is to different standards without re-measuring.
Label has an area that customer can sign off the proof.
Includes the new ISO Coated v2 (ECI) standard.
