iComic Publisher Description

iComic is an upgraded version of iBert, a program that allows you to download new comic strips to your desktop and view them. Features include:

Easy to use interface, works like Apple's Safari browser.
Subscribe to your favorite web comics, then collect the latest strips from them.
Easy to use tabs to flip between the comic you subscribe to.
Open architecture, supports plugins written in the Perl language
A plugin may return a single image or a whole set (such as from an archive page)
Windows sizes to fit the comic you're viewing
Add strips you like to your Favorites. You can then add comments to them, and even find a strip based on your comments.
Drag-and-drop from iComic directly into other applications such as Mail.
Only downloads the strips if you are connected to the Internet — quite modem-friendly.
