Transcriva Ñ Dictaphones are yesterday's news. Transcriva turns this mechanical chore into a natural, fluid process using the power of Mac OS X.

The unique chat-like interface produces a clean, concise transcript whether you're transcribing a single speaker's dictation or the Board's meeting minutes. The audio interface provides just the right amount of control. An adjustable playback speed lets you work more slowly for fast talkers and more quickly for slow ones, while the backtrack-on-pause feature lets you easily pick up where you left off without the guesswork.

Best of all, Transcriva's most common controls are keyboard-driven, allowing you to assign shortcuts to speakers for quick transcription, as well as control the playback without constantly reaching for the mouse. When you're finished, the export feature lets you open your transcript in any standard text editor, word processor, or layout tool - even CopyWrite!

Version 1.21: This update fixes the following problems: Speaker shortcuts would not work with new documents. Deleting an entire entry could not be undone. Could not import media types supported by third-party QuickTime plug-ins.
