Speed Demon (PPC) Publisher Description

Speed Demon is a road race and combat game that sports stunning 3D
graphics, intense sound effects, and two modes of gameplay. In track
mode, you can race across the country over Interstate 90. You'll have to
keep an eye on the clock while you deal with sharp curves, enemy cars,
obstacles, and--courtesy of your opponents--annoying missiles and land
mines. If that's not exciting enough for you, have a go at demolition
derby mode where you'll be thrown into an arena with five heavily armed
cars. The object is simple: be the last survivor. Advanced weaponry
abounds to help you blast your opponents, including photons, mines, oil
slicks, really big bowling balls, and more. Speed Demon lets you compete
against up to five players over an AppleTalk or TCP/IP connection, or
just against computer opponents. Open Transport 1.1.1 or later is needed
for network play.
