RegeX Publisher Description

RegeX is a line-oriented PCRE-compatible powertool. It rips through large files, highlighting matching lines on the fly, and extracts data features to XML and CSV. RegeX also supports line collapsing and grouping of lines by matching regex. RegeX works with text files, sources from the web and can consume the output of unix executables.

Another great use for this tool is pre-processing and filtering CSV or other data for later importation into MS Excel or other tools.

RegeX is not limited by file size. All manipulations are performed on the fly and the upper boundary of the files it can manipulate is only limited by your system's memory. RegeX works in concert with your memory manager, so you can manipulate large files on a G4 Powerbook.
