Outlook Express Internet email product is built on open Internet standards such as POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, LDAP, MIME, HTML, and NNTP, Outlook Express offers a rich feature set that is easy to use. An intuitive user interface and support for multiple user accounts help users not only get up and running quickly but also manage their email easily. Users can enjoy other features including preview of incoming messages and saving of message drafts, integration of mail and newsgroups, unread message count, new message notification, and customizable toolbar. IMAP4 support allows users to maintain mail on a server from different locations and desktops.

NOTE!: An easy way to import contact info from Outlook Express into Jaguar's Address Book? Apple provided an easy way, though it's not easy to find unless you're looking for it. Go to Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts/Helper Scripts and you will find a script called "Outlook Express".

This latest versionÊÑ version 5.0.6ÊÑ includes support for MSN Web mail accounts and resolves all security vulnerabilities in previous versions of Outlook ExpressÊ5. This includes vulnerabilities that might have caused Outlook Express to stop responding or caused a memory problem that compromised the security of the computer as well as a security vulnerability that can enable an attacker who had a valid security certificate to issue an invalid subordinate certificate that would appear to be valid.
