Ghost Hunter Publisher Description

Ghost Hunter is a utility that is designed to allow users to quickly and efficiently delete invisible files, Ghost Hunter also includes many other rich features for file management. One major enhancement of Ghost Hunter is its ability to quickly find the application that created the file you have selected, no more comparing creator types.

Ghost Hunter incorporates the point and click features of Mac OS side by side with advanced features such as key combinations for speedy volume navigation. Some advanced features of Ghost Hunter include: the ability to see just invisible files or visible and invisible files; detailed information on every file and the ability to easily find the application that created that file.

Whats new:
Version 2.1 adds the following:

Fixes a bug where the help text would display in the wrong window was fixed
The registration system no longer requires you to connect to the internet
The hex editing window resizes properly
Added a dialog explaining the Kill All command before it is executed
Selecting the close command no longer closes the “Shortcuts” window
When copying from Read-Only volumes it no longer reports an error
The hex editor is no longer allowed to open Ghost Hunter (it invoked a nasty crash)
The hex editor now allows editing on read only files
The hex editor now properly detects changes and asks if you would like to save
Selecting close no longer closes the Hex Pad
The button in the shortcuts window has been changed to avoid confusion
You can set if files should be made visible after copying or moving
The preference dialog has been redesigned
Statistics showing total items and invisible items in the filebox are now displayed
You can now specify if Ghost Hunter should check for open files before preforming commands on them.
A handy specialized calculator called the Hex Pad, that provides easy conversion from ASCII to hex and hex to ASCII
Added “Apply” and “Cancel” buttons to the Info windows
Added MacVRefNum and MacDirID to the Info windows
