Bias Peak is a 2-track digital audio editing program. You can edit and process audio in a fraction of the time required by competing systems. Unlimited levels of undo and redo give you the freedom to create, without the fear of harming your original file.

ImpulseVerb Sampling Reverb -- add warm, realistic reverb to your audio documents with this incredible DSP item that actually applies the reverberation and room characteristics to your audio. The Peak 4 ImpulseVerb� includes an impressive library of hundreds of impulse responses you can use right away.

Enhanced Graphical User Interface -- Peak 4 has undergone a major GUI revision including aluminum brushed metal documents, toolbars, new high-contrast meters, and audio document drawers for easy editing of regions, markers and loops. Many interface elements have been modified and relocated for improved ergonomics.

AudioUnit� support -- Peak 4 supports Apple's new AudioUnits plug-in technology. AudioUnits can be used alongside OS X compatible VST plug-ins with the five plug-in inserts. Several Audio Units plug-ins are included as part of OS X Jaguar - including Bandpass, Delay, and others - and are fully accessible from within the Peak 4 Audio Units plug-in menu.

Sqweez� Compressor -- Peak 4 includes our very own mastering compressor you'll find invaluable for adding punch to your drums or final mastering before delivery.

Integrated CD Burning -- Peak 4 uses OS X to burn CDs directly. You can even burn directly from an audio document window and any regions you have created will automatically become CD tracks.

MP Support and Background Processing -- Peak 4 DSP processes can be lined up in sequence fully supporting multiple-processors and multi-threaded technology. Keep playing and working with your audio documents while your extra processors go to work!

Vbox� SE 1.3 -- Peak 4 includes a new streamlined version of our VST plug-ins matrix giving you endless possibilities for combining effects in parallel or series. Vbox 1.3 has an updated GUI and is a 4x4 matrix instead of a 5x5 matrix to give you more screen real-estate.

Transparent Cursor Info Overlay -- this handy tool shows cursor time information, sample value, selection length, reference marker distance, and tempo in a handy transparent overlay that follows the mouse.

Harmonic Rotate -- Harmonic Rotate literally puts a twist on your signal's harmonics by rotating the frequency spectrum. The results are truly ear bending!

Bit Usage -- get an overview of the actual bits used in your audio documents in this fantastic new DSP analyzer to reveal true 24-bit recording and processing as well as to identify any bit quantization or bit saturation.

Envelope control for Change Duration -- change tempos or durations over time with the new envelope control in Peak 4's Change Duration feature.

Magic Click Removal Tool -- hold down the option key when using the Pencil tool to use this auto-magic click remover.

A number of other enhancements include importing and auditioning of sub-segments from audio CD tracks, QuickTime movie looping, QuickTime movie playback during recording for dialog replacement, a Markers From Tempo feature, an audition option in the Open File dialog with document info display, and much more.

Peak 4 now supports writing 32-bit floating point AIFF files. For this reason, save any 32-bit integer AIFF files that were created in Peak 3.X as 32-bit SD2 files before opening them in Peak 4 or else they will sound distorted.
