Safari is for Apple what Internet Explorer is to Microsoft: a web browser developed by the same company that developed the operating system it runs on; a piece of software that comes preinstalled on the operating system. The history buff will remember that Apple introduced Safari as the default web browser in Mac PS X 10.3 Panther. Leaving history aside, let’s focus on the future.
