The Google developed web browser, Google Chrome, is all about speed. All though its development process the Google team has touted the efficiency of the V8 JavaScript engine and software testers have confirmed that Chrome is faster than all the other browsers out there. A fast browser deserves a fast user and what would allow you to use Chrome in a speedier manner is knowing when to replace a click of the mouse with a keyboard shortcut.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts that you can use in Google Chrome, grouped by category:
Window and tab
New window - Ctrl+N
New tab - Ctrl+T
New window (incognito mode) - Ctrl+Shift+N
Open file in Chrome - Press Ctrl+O, then select file
Open link in background tab - Press Ctrl and click a link (or click link with the middle mouse button)
Open link in new tab (switches to tab immediately) - Press Ctrl+Shift and click a link (or Shift + middle button click)
Open link in new window - Press Shift and click a link
Reopen the last tab that was closed - Ctrl+Shift+T
Switch to tab at the specified position number on tab strip - Ctrl+1 through 8
Switch to last tab - Ctrl+9
Next tab - Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+PgDown
Previous tab - Ctrl+Shift+Tab or Ctrl+PgUp
Close current window - Alt+F4
Close current tab or pop-up Ctrl+W or Ctrl+F4
Previous page in the browsing history for the tab – Backspace or Alt+Left arrow

Add www. and .com to the input and open the resulting URL – Type in the name of the site you want to access then press Ctrl+ Enter. For example if you want to access www.findmysoft.com just type in findmysoft.
Open URL in new tab – type URL then press Alt + Enter
Highlight URL - F6 or Ctrl+L or Alt+D
Place a '?' in the address bar; type a search term after the question mark to perform a search - Ctrl+K or Ctrl+E
Delete entry from browsing history (if possible) – with the keyboard arrows select an entry in the address bar dropdown menu then press Shift+Delete
Select first or last entry in the address bar drop-down menu - Page Up or Page Down (when address bar drop-down menu is visible)
