To access certain online services you need to set up an account first; then, in order to access your account, you have to type in your username and password every time you log in. The Mozilla developed web browser makes this process a lot more convenient by offering to remember the username and password for you. You don’t have to type in your login credentials each and every time, which makes things a lot easier
The key words here are “Mozilla will remember” the password. You on the other hand may forget them, especially if you picked something a very complicated and hard to remember password (but on the other hand, a very strong password). If you ever need a little reminder, you can see what passwords Firefox stored by following the steps presented below:
Step 1. The first and obvious step is to launch the Firefox browser. Double click the desktop icon, click the Quick Launch icon, or whatever other means you use to start the browser up.
Step 2. From the list of menus in the top let hand side of the window, click Tools.
Step 3. In the dropdown menu click Options..., the last item at the bottom.
Step 4. In the Options window that pops up click the Security tab (the one with the padlock icon).
Step 5. In the Passwords section click the Saved Passwords… tab.
Step 6. The Saved Passwords window will pop up -> in the bottom right hand corner click Show Passwords. When presented with the Are you sure you wish to show your passwords? message click Yes. You can now see all the various passwords Firefox stored. From left to right you will see: the site’s URL, your username and your password.
Step 7. When you are done click Close -> in the Options window click OK.
