If you are going to make the jump from Windows XP or Vista to the brand new Windows 7, chances are you might want to get a new PC. If Windows 7 is as good as everyone says it is, then why use it on your old, battered PC – get a new one and use it, and Windows 7, with a big grin on your face. Now the thing is that new systems come with a bunch of preinstalled applications – commonly known as bloatware or crapware. These preinstalled software applications are either not very useful to being with, or they can be used for a limited period of time (trial versions meant to push you to purchase the full version).
In just two easy steps you can get rid of the bloatware that came with your brand new Windows 7 PC and replace it with something that’s actually useful. Here are the two steps I’m talking about:
Step 1. Get rid of the preinstalled software applications.
In this regard you can use a handy piece of software called PC Decrapifier. The name says it all, but I’ll spell it out for you anyway, just in case: this free piece of software easily removes all the crapware from your system. The software is specially designed to be used on new PCs; it will remove browser toolbars, ISP software, trials, and a whole bunch of other things you definitely do not want (see full list here).
Click here to download PC Decrapifier -> run the setup executable and follow the steps presented in the setup wizard to install the software on your machine. Then run PC Decrapifier to remove all the bloatware/crapware.
Step 2. Replace the bloatware with useful software that comes free of charge
This step is simple. Just go over to Ninite (click here – a new tab will open), select the software you would like to get and then click Get Installer. The software applications available for download can be included in these categories: web browsers, instant messaging, media, imaging, documents, runtimes, file sharing, and utilities. After you download the installer, run it to install all the apps you selected.
