Remove Saved Password Records in Google Chrome

Chrome, the speedy web browser developed by Mountain View-based search engine giant Google, offers to save your login credentials for certain webpages. When you visit a website, type in your username and password, the Do you want Chrome to save your password prompt will appear. Click Save Password and the browser will remember the site’s URL, your username and your password. You can easily view the information Chrome stored – but that it is a topic we’ve covered in detail here. What we will focus on now is how to remove the information that Chrome stored.

Here is what you have to do is you want to remove password records from Google Chrome:

Step 1. Launch the Google Chrome browser.
You can click the Chrome icon from the Start Menu, or double click the Chrome icon from the desktop, or whatever other means you use to fire up the browser.

Step 2. Look to the top right hand side of the Chrome window, locate and click the wrench menu.

Step 3. After you click the wrench menu, a dropdown menu will appear -> click Options.

Step 4. In the Google Chrome Options window that appeared click the Personal Stuff tab.

Step 5. In the Passwords section click the Show saved passwords button.

Step 6. The Passwords and Exceptions window will appear. Select an item in the Saved Passwords list and click Remove.
To remove all entries in the list, click the Remove All button -> click Yes when the Are you sure you want to remove all passwords message appears.

Step 7. Close the Passwords and Exceptions window -> close the Google Chrome Options window and you’re done.

Tips and warnings
