Bookmarking a webpage that you like is an easy way of ensuring you can always return to that webpage. Encounter more and more webpages that you like and you will soon have a long list of items in your bookmarks menu. Now imagine this scenario if you will: you have to switch to another computer and you would like to take all your bookmarks with you. What do you do? You can easily export those bookmarks.

Doing this in Google Chrome is a fairly straightforward process. Follow the detailed, step-by-step tutorial presented below and you should be just fine;

Step 1. Launch the Chrome browser.
In this regard you can double click the desktop icon, click the Chrome icon from the Start menu, or whatever other means you use to launch the software application.

Step 2. Click the wrench menu from the top right hand corner of the window.

Step 3. A dropdown menu will appear. Click Bookmark Manager.

Step 4. From the top left hand corner of the Bookmark Manager window, click Tools -> then click Export bookmarks.

Step 5. The Save As window will appear. Select the location where you would like to store your bookmarks then click Save.

Step 6. Close the Bookmark Manager window and you’re done.

Tips and warnings
  • All your bookmarks will be exported as HTML.
