When you want to move data around on your computer, the easiest way to achieve this goal is by copying it from one location from another. How to Copy a Folder – The Drag and Drop Method

Step 1. Select the folder you want to copy.

Step 2. Drag and drop it to the location where you want it to be copied to. You might need to open two windows – one where you see the folder and the other with the location you want it to be copied to.

Step 1. Locate the folder you want to copy.

Step 2. Right click the folder -> in the dropdown menu that appears click Copy.

Step 4. Navigate to the location where you would like the folder to be copied to.

Step 5. Right click an empty space -> Click Paste.

How to Copy a Folder – the Keyboard Method

Step 1. Locate the folder you want to copy.

Step 2. Select it -> press Ctrl + C on your keyboard.

Step 3. Navigate to the location where you would like the folder to be copied to. Press Ctrl + V on your keyboard and the folder will be copied there.

Tips and warnings
You can copy shared files off the network and onto your computer as well.
