„h Fixed issue where S3 wake will fail intermittently on RAID mode.
„h Fixed issue of long boot time due to no media in SATA optical drive when set to AHCI/RAID mode.
„h Updated MRC to build 2.4.
„h Fixed issue where L2 cache size will not be displayed in BIOS setup.
„h Fixed a problem where IERR got asserted on certain CPUs.
„h Fixed a problem where the system would hang on S3 resume during SMM relocation.
„h Fixed issue where graphics cards that don¡¦t support 800x600 mode will not display anything on screen during POST.
„h Fixed language switching and ¡¥Exit discard changes¡¦ could slow down responsive of BIOS setup page.
„h Fixed possible hang at POST code 0x5A with certain video cards attached to the system.
„h Added support to select the appropriate voltage based on CPU and FSB speed.
„h Fixed a problem where system would boot slow with 8GB of memory in the system, and booting to a 64bit OS.
There are four options for updating your Intel Desktop Board BIOS (you only need to download one).
Recovery BIOS Update [DP0407P.BIO] - A .BIO file to be used for BIOS recovery process, regardless of operating system. In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted, it is possible the BIOS may be left in an unusable state. Use the Recovery BIOS update to recovering from this condition. It requires a blank floppy diskette or CD.
ISO Image BIOS Update [DP0407P.ISO] - Bootable ISO image BIOS update; this is the recommended method to update the BIOS on systems running Linux*. It requires a blank CD and a read/writeable CD drive.
Iflash BIOS Update / Integrator Toolkit BIOS Files [DPP3510J.86A.0407.BI.ZIP] - A DOS-based utility to update the BIOS regardless of operating system. It requires a CD or a USB flash device. This download also provides the necessary files for Intel Integrator Toolkit. Support and FAQs for Intel Integrator Toolkit are available here.
Express BIOS Update [DPP3510J.86A.0407.EB.EXE] - Self-extracting Windows*-based update file includes Software License Agreement and the utility for updating the BIOS. It is designed to be used on Windows* systems. This method is the most commonly used.
